Very impressed with the starter we had to share, mozzarella was amazing! Asked for balsamic vinegar and it was no problem. It transported us back to our Honeymoon in Rome’s side streets eating where the locals do!
Lasagna and beef were both amazing… so was the side salad, the leaf selection was perfect and just went really well…. only tiny negative was not being offered more Parmesan but it was busy.
Took a little time to order deserts and were sold out of one, shame… the apple desert was a show stopper when it was set a light.
Gent with the amazing moustache at the end was lovely when we were paying. Recommending the sharing starter and the cloudy lemonade!! Great quality and clean plates! Food was put together well, entertaining seeing the pizza spun, loved it when the lights were dipped. Would add the knocking for service is slightly annoying when in for a while.
Booked for our Wedding Anniversary, noted when booking but feel this was a slightly missed opportunity… why ask? Just a little room for improvement on that marketing side… we will definitely be back and loved the food!!!
I can honestly see why it is highly rated and we will be recommending it to family and friends and be back soon.
Cost we also found to be incredibly reasonable! Love the deals they have on for a few days of the week - cocktails also looked amazing. Next time we won’t be driving!
Absolutely beautiful, fresh food. Eight of us ate here, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Service was excellent and friendly, the food was just so good. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
Lovely evening, the staff were lovely the food was amazing & well priced. We have booked for Mother’s Day & very much looking forward to sampling the Sunday lunch. Thanks again for making the evening so nice.
Newcastle not short of Italian food options but this place among the best! Food and service were tremendous, owner very welcoming. All the food is made fresh to order and tastes amazing. Leave room for dessert! Parking spaces around the restaurant can be hard to come by at weekends so leave a little bit earlier than planned if driving 👍
Good food at quite large portions, a bit heavy even, and cocktails were really strong too! Very Italian as once you go you leave full. The staff was also really nice despite how busy the evening was so probably equally as stressful. The rest of the menu also looked great so we will definitely be visiting again to explore it more!

Lovely atmosphere, warm welcome, great aroma. Superb food, especially prawn & crab linguine and carbonara, excellent dessert & coffee. Very reasonably priced, friendly service. Superb.
Eat there a few weeks back but only just got arround to writing review. Food was great, service was great too will definitely go back!

Served by Beth and Cal. Nice attentive service. Both able to hold a conversation, with personalities and give you some eye contact. Very much on the ball in regards all aspects of ordering, recommending food and also timely in bringing dishes out etc. Cal recommended the garlic bread with chilli and honey (unusual combination, but it works, Cal was correct ✅) All the food was hot, good portions and fresh. Nice bottle of red wine (Merlot) and the draft lager is 😋 Nice decor, very very clean and well set up. We were on the high tables by the window, extremely comfortable tall stools. Good buzz and friendly feel and the whole experience was seamless. It makes a massive difference (i.e. we will return) when the front of house staff are as good as this. Please increase their salaries, they are worth it. 10/10. Thank you all and particularly to Beth and Cal. We will be back 😁
