Was in Newcastle for a night out, 26/03/2018, with a couple of friends and as usual last minute decisions were made for food, quick peruse of the internet and agreement of the group, we made our way to Longhorns.
We arrived to busy restaurant and were told by a nice gentleman, who was either just back from a sundrenched holiday, fresh from the tanning salon or had accidentally bathed in Ronseal, it would be about 10 minutes for a table if we wanted to wait and asked if we wanted a drink, so far so good, drinks ordered we waited.
Promptly we were seated a table one back from the kitchen and made our order, I had the big-ass beef rib with sweet potato fries and so did one of my compatriots, the third member order a burger.
The beef rib was delicious and flavourful, the meat was melt in the mouth tender and required no effort to remove from the bone. The fries much to my surprise were crisp and tasty(previous efforts to enjoy sweet potato fries in other eating establishments have resulted in receiving what can best be described as orange mush sticks).
The waiting staff were attentive without being overbearing, my biggest gripe in a restaurant is constantly having to stop eating to answer the same question of "is everything ok?".
Being the biggest and possibly hungriest of our group I finished my meal first and the half bottle of Jack Daniel's I'd consumed decided it would be funny sit around with the rib bone in my mouth like a cross between a psychotic cannibal and a cartoon dog, this seemed to amuse your chefs to no end and took this as a sign that a: I'd enjoyed what I'd eaten and b: was still hungry, they were correct on both points. Being the kind and charitable sort or perhaps fearing I'd swap the bone for someone's arm they sent out a nice plate of some of your other meats which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Bill paid, tip left, I shook hands with your chefs and left very happy indeed.
Next time I'm in Newcastle you'll certainly be getting another visit.
The only suggestion I could make, which is not a detraction from our visit, is to add a double up or even treble up on the beef rib, 2 for £23, 3 for £32 for example
Well where do I begin, after being a huge fan of the smokehouse already I entered and won a Facebook competition for the new Steak Night Launch!
This prize was amazing we had a table for 4 of us all expenses paid however this is only the base of what is an awesome place!
On arrival we were greeted by the amazing assistant manager who sat us down and congratulated us and told us how our night would work!
Not only did we win the steak for 4 we also had all drinks and food paid for throughout the night!
At no point could I fault this place, the staff are amazing and we also had the pleasure of chatting with Mark who has brought the best steaks I have ever had to Newcastle! Nevermind your Other steak recipes for the price of what you get on steak night here this is a steal!
We cannot thank the guys at Longhorns enough we had the most spontaneous and amazing night out and couldn’t of had this without you guys!

Had a wonderful time at Longhorns having the bottomless brunch. The staff were friendly, attentive and approachable. The food was delicious and there was lots of variety.
The food was of both great quality and definitely of great quantity, we ended up taking a whole lot of food home afterwards that I expect to be eating for a few days at least.
Also the variety of drinks on offer for the brunch were fantastic.
I'd definitely recommend catching this sometime.
Great place for meat lovers, with some good deals too. No hot drinks, not even hot water.
Steak was well cooked, tasty but dry.
Chicken was very tasty, crispy with beautiful marinate. Not dry at all.
Pulled pork was delicious and succulent.
I ordered both ribs and wings not realising the portions are huge! So this is a good place if you felt like eating a lot of barbecued meat for a low price. Very good value for money, I couldn't finish all of it and I usually finish everything.
Fantastic tasting food. I wanted a belly buster and got it (All In burger). Only regret is it wasn't a Wednesday so I couldn't get the bottomless wings. Draught beer/cider selection could be improved though.
If you download the app u can get some amazing deals! Food is unreal always hot and salted chips !! 🍟 Not a clean carpark but not sure if that's up to Burger King 🤔
Loved it, food was AMAZING. I was starving, i am currently pregnant and Longhorns definitely sorted me out with one amazing meal. Everything was cooked with love and perfection. Il be coming back on my next visit to New castle. The customer service was top notch and very welcoming, the venue itself is decorated with great style and has a good cosy ambience. Thoroughly enjoyed eating here, definitely recommend this spot!
Great cooked and lovely food. The Pit Beans are fantastic. Great service. The only downside is that larger groups have to sit downstairs which is a little cramped with no windows. Will defiantly be visiting again

I'm so used to Smokestak in Shoreditch, London.. But for the price, taste and location this great little place has Huge portions for and bags of flavour.
Wonderful place! Staff were super friendly and the Tomahawk steak was amazing! A brilliant steakhouse!! Would definitely come here again
Wings Wednesday is a game changer! Best place for barbecue meat and a beer!
Very filling and won’t go home disappointed!
Man portions so go hungry!
