Lovely place to visit for a refreshment and a bite while resting after a day of sightseeing in Newcastle. Staff is great and friendly. Atmosphere pleasant.

Quaint & traditional. Well worth a visit & Nice & respectfully quiet with no banging music or TV chatter going on, just nice background "people" conversations. Food & scones, cake etc etc to enjoy. These might be the work of Angels.
Local art for sale, good value coffee and food. Staff very friendly and helpful. Served my espresso with water unasked, which is worth a sixth star.
