The pub landlord/manager was lovely. I asked if he was showing the Africa cup of nations final. He said no but he can put it on for us. He also lowered the music so we could enjoy the match. Very kind. Locals were very friendly and drink were reasonably priced. Really enjoyed watching the match with two Nigerian friends and a regular who we got chatting to. Great evening.

Visited this bar on Friday afternoon after getting off the train and was welcomed by an electric atmosphere really feel good Geordie buzz, the bar staff were wonderful despite being so busy still attentive and friendly and very welcoming great selection of beers and wines something for everyone. Highly recommend if your near central station

This pub is one of kind. Many people pass and go being so close to the station. It’s the nature of the beast. The staff are attentive, welcoming and chilled considering. They do a great job. Sam and Ania are awesome.
