This has always been a good pub, but since the change of management in January 2016 things have really taken off. The menu has improved, the range of beers has improved, the friendly ambiance has improved, they've introduced a cocktail menu and brought in some great new staff that have really lifted the place. The pub has been in the doldrums for the past couple of years and we are so pleased to see it now getting better at such a rapid rate. We had a great Friday night and came back for Sunday lunch. Five stars.
Been here today with mam, sister and 2 kids. 2nd time ive been and it just gets better. Amazing atmosphire, great freindly staff and truely amazing Sunday Dinner. 2 courses for just under a 10er and by far the best Sunday dinner in Newcastle!! An easy 10/10 from myself and family ........ even kids. Great work guys �
Stopped by for a "swift half" - really nice pub, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Nice beer garden and a good pint.
New tenants have got this place buzzing again. Music, karaoke, quiz nights, nearly always something happening. Very friendly.

Really great to see how popular this little pub is. Fantastic atmosphere with a saxophonist playing on the night we visited. Looking forward to another visit soon.

Really nice pub with lots of option and a fantastic outdoor seating area, lots of time and effort has clearly been out in to adding value to this area. The staff were also very friendly and funny to chat with!
