The restaurant is upstairs, two steps need maintenance. A big lamp hugging from the ceiling is very beautiful but a bit broken now.
I wonder about the cleanliness of the restaurant on my way up...
Very friendly welcome and service, nice chicken and big portions.
It wasn't very busy and it was very comfortable and agradable to be there.
Nice views from the big window by the tables to Newcastle and the square.
Nothing to complain, just a bit more love to get this five stars.

Food very nice as usual.
Service not so good on this visit, after a mixup the server didn't get back to me after half our food didn't arrive and avoided us. Had to go to the manager to sort it out, he was very nice and apologetic offering free desert as an apology.

Had a lovely Grilled Halloumi and Mushroom Pitta. Filled to the brim with salad which I don't get in other Nando's for some reason! Wanted to thank them for the nice meal but forgot to. The staff were friendly though.

Emma (I assume the manager) was very kind. I didn't order anything and didn't plan to as I was there to accompany a couple of friends. However, she gave me a free side of chips because she knew I was the only one not having anything. She's a lovely person and my friends can attest to it as well from previous visits!

We had lunch here today (Saturday afternoon) it was packed. And the staff was so friendly and polite! You could tell they were really busy. The waiters were walking around with food and wiping tables. When we unexpectedly had to leave, while waiting on our food, they boxed everything up, not even asked why

I was very pleased with food and service was excellent the young girl who served me and my grandchild was more than helpfull I didn't know which bread I wanted she recommended pitta bread it was a lovely meal we can't wait to return.

Queued to get in, to be told the drinks machine had broken but very kindly pointed to the pound shop to buy my own drinks. Finally got a table outside, ordered our food. I picked our cutlery up... had to clean it ourselves and waited... 40 mins later, still no food. Asked a waitress how long it would be, 15 minutes later still no update on our three meals. So we asked another waitress, an hour after ordering our food it arrived. Yay! One out of three of the meals were hot, one of the meals were missing one of their sides and our halloumi was cold. Overall not worth the wait and they were clearly understaffed. We were told as we weren’t from the area, the manager couldn’t offer us and discount for our troubles or disappointment!

Visited on 26/11/17. My son is allergic to dairy and the waiter who served us was extremely helpful, got the allergen menu and helped us find what he could eat. Its not often a restaurant is that clued up when it comes to allergens and even less so they help you to decipher their complicated menu. Even apologised my sons meal was a little later than ours as they had cleaned the grill down to ensure there was no cross contamination! � food was hot and tasty too !

What on earth was going on in this place tonight. Told we could have a table in 5 mins waited 15 and then we're informed we could eat downstairs instead. Told food would be 20 mins it was half an hour. When order arrived it was completely wrong with no sides. Waitress offered for me to speak to the manager what's the point when it's obviously nothing more than a fast food place and no longer a restaurant.

Staff are rubbish none of them were smiling only smiling when you left. No staff at the entrance got half way into the "restraunt " and then got asked if we wanted to sit down somewhere (we were already looking for a table.)The food was ok wasn't worth 22 pound though. The drinks machine as normal the juice tasted like the carton was empty so the Fanta was like soda water and the last time I was there the gas had gone I told them and they didn't even change it. Get some new happy staff and some responsibility. P.s it's not even worth getting 10% off in here rather go to a diffrent place.

Food was dry, cold and stale. Chips were undercooked and soggy, mash was extremely dry/powdery. Chicken was unedible. Extremely disappointed. Service was shocking, the worst I've ever experienced.Young staff who just have no passion and seem very careless. Girl at the counter and the door greeter were making jokes and sniggering about customers coming in which I thought was unprofessional and stepped the line. Nandos have definitely made a name for themselves and set the benchmark which you expect to be consistent throughout but the quality of the food/service and overall atmosphere is one I wouldn't want to repeat.

Went this Nandos branch on Friday 5th of May at around 8.30pm. We usually love Nandos but haven't been to this branch for a while and definitely won't be going back!
Firstly, when we went to order we were told there was no chicken on the bone available - in nandos? We ordered burgers instead and that was fine.
When our food arrived, my chips and burger were stone cold and my boyfriend's chips were cold and his burger was lukewarm. We went over to the desk and the waitress was very rude and didn't apologise but did agree to send over the manager. The Manager apologised and agreed to give us both fresh chips and to heat up my burger however he left my boyfriend's burger to go cold why he got us the chips and my burger heated up. I don't feel this was a satisfactory resolution as it meant we essentially had to eat our meals separately. We were never checked on again - indicated by the wooden chicken.
I got the new trio burger and there was barely any chicken in it. The chicken only covered half of the bun!
We finished our meal at around quarter past 9 and we realised we were the only people left but we hadn't finished our wine. However, we felt the staff were shooing us out of the door. They took our sauces without taking our dirty plates and the surround chairs had been stacked with cleaning equipment left out for our table. We were hoping to get cheesecake but the tills had been switched off and we didn't feel we could.
There was nothing positive about our experience!
All round disappointed!

Front of staff guy was great, he'll my daughters suitcase downstairs and called the lift. After been shown are table, we waited 10 mins with bi menu, before I asked for them. After that food was amazing.

Great food but service not as good as Silverlink. Need more staff on this site. Sat downstairs, all ready to place order then asked to move upstairs as not enough staff to work downstairs!! Food was nice but muddled my daughters order up !!

Waited over 80 minutes for a takeaway despite the staff saying it would be 15-20 minutes. When asked how long the meal would be after waiting 30 minutes the staff said 5 minutes more and when asked again after a further 10 minutes had passed kept saying it would be 2-3 minutes. The staff outright lied to me and several other customers waiting after already taking payment to keep us in the restaurant. I appreciate delays occur but lying to customers for over an hour of the lead time you give for the food to be ready is an outrage and a waste of peoples time. On the bright side the food was nice, or perhaps it tasted nice because of the sheer amount of time I was hungry waiting for it.
