Now under New Management, The Taste of India has gone back to the amazing standards of when it first opened. Had the most amazing meal there last night, food was excellent and alcohol being served again. The staff are brilliant, especially one young lady, who is the owners sister. We will definitely be returning and making this a regular place to visit, cannot recommend it highly enough.
Truly amazing service , superb flavoursome food . Lovely menu with some dishes we hadn't seen before and we eat a lot of Indian food . I am a coeliac and needed to be sure I was eating gluten free . The staff guided me towards dishes that were ok for me and went the extra mile to check the poppadoms didn't contain wheat flour . Happy to bring the packet for me to check . Comfortable restaurant, nice atmosphere, excellent value , would recommend you try it .

Another amazing meal at this lovely restaurant. The staff can't do enough for you they are so friendly and helpful. It was my partners birthday, the staff came out with a cake and sang happy birthday, which was a lovely touch which was really appreciated. It is such a relaxed atmosphere
My husband and I joined friends at this restaurant in October. It was the first time I had been there. The food was amazing and the service was impeccable. We have been to many Indian restaurants before and this was by far the best.
Dined in with 5 friends. Fab food & service but didn't like having to climb over other chairs to get seated. 🤔 We will definitely be back again though. Highly recommended!!
The dishes were a bit more spicy than we anticipated from the menu description. Tasty though with very friendly staff on our takeaway pickup
I have been in the restaurant 3 days ago and I ordered chicken tikka main which was delicious, juicy I also ordered sheesh kebab which was beautiful and tender last of all the garlic chips it was one of the best chips I’ve ever had. Would highly recommend dining in

First time eating at the premises although we have had plenty of takeaways from here. We had a party of eight so thought it would be easier to sit in. It's always a friendly greeting from the staff and we were quickly shown to our table as we had booked in advance. We had are wide range in age from 11 to 81 which meant a varied pallete of tastes. But the waiter was very helpful and recommended some house specials which were very nice. We all enjoyed our food and left Happy. Would recommend this place to anyone and will be returning again in the future I'm sure.
Chicken Dansak tonight was the best in 20 years, speed of service good friendly staff, very clean tidy well decorated restaurant would recommend to anyone "Best one yet"
