Absolutely gorgeous place!
We went for Sunday lunch and it was incredibly tasty! Fully vegan menu with lots of choice.
The service was outstanding, the chap who served us was so friendly, very helpful and funny.
The building and interior is stunning. Full of quirky little features.
Would highly recommend and will be back to try the rest of the menu!
I was in relatively early on Tuesday so it was quiet but it started to fill up. I had some great beer and they had dandelion and burdock on tap which my wife was exceptionally excited about! It is a beautiful pub with lovely staff (and dog). I feel it would have a fantastic atmosphere when it is busy going by those that came in and how well kept it is. My mum remembers it as Jesmond Railway station.
What an absolute gem of a place. The food was amazing, the building was quirky with a brilliant atmosphere, and the staff (& dogs!) were wonderfully welcoming. I wish it was my local.
Had a really good meal here last night! The "Jack Shawarma" was one of the best things I've eaten in a long time. Nice and friendly barman too, I didn't catch his name but he was from Cumbria. Definitely knew his stuff and recommended me a lovely pint. Would definitely recommend
Absolutely lovely pub! Beers are more on the expensive side but worth it for the atmosphere and food! Plus there's plenty of free games, free arcade machine and free jukebox!
Had a few vegan Sunday dinners here and they've slapped each time really excellent food, especially as it doesn't even feel like it's vegan too!
Quite tricky to initially find but definitely worth the look, highly recommend!
Loved the carriage, proper nice old pub with some great features and decor. Really pleased that all the menu was vegan as well, the food was great, I had the jackfruit shawarma, really good! Staff were really friendly as well. It was dog friendly as well so got to meet some nice dogs.
This is a great pub serving only vegan food. Beautiful building... a little difficult to find, but when you do I recommend you should visit for drinks & good especially if you are vegan.
2 nights in Newcastle. Found the Carriage near our hotel. Great vibe from the bar. Brilliant staff and great beers

Absolutely amazing spot. All-vegan menu, great selection of beer and the staff were lovely. We were given a really warm welcome and an absolutely amazing Sunday roast. Very highly recommended.
