Been visiting both MTs since the early 80s and happy to say they haven’t changed much. It was a ‘treat’ when we were younger to come and get a sundae and I continued popping in through my college days. Love the apple pie and the staff (especially at Percy Street) alway makes you feel like a long lost best friend. Please don’t change anything!

I took my Mum here for a quick something to eat and because it wasn't too far a walk from Newcastle station. This classic ice cream parlor has a great vibe about it as it is full of character. The waitresses were very friendly. The selection of ice cream sundaes, traditional ice cream desserts, pies and puds was fantastic! My Mum had a slice of Meringue pie with a hot chocolate whereas I had a cheese and ham panini with a slice of a traditional apple pie, lattice topped pastry with a generous dollop of vanilla ice cream. Absolutely loved it! I'd definitely recommend this place, especially families with young children!

Beautiful place. Lovely, cosy atmosphere and pleasant staff. I came here for the first time last weekend and had the sausage, egg, bacon and tomato sandwich which was delicious. I then had the ice cream float with Pepsi which I loved, takes me back to being little. Had a little bit of a wait but nothing too major. Will definitely have to return to try some ice cream as it all looked so good, so many choices!🍦🍨🍧.
