Oh my word. Had the vegan cheese melt and it was amazing! I actually walked down to the train station just to try it and it was totally worth it. The bread is nice and crisp but the crust has a good chew to it. I'd recommend the chilli chutney its not got much of a kick but adds a nice sweet tang.

A lovely place to grab a quick snack in Newcastle train station. Nicola and Craig (the owners) are great and they offer a wide selection of grilled cheese sandwiches and snacks - they have options for vegetarians and vegans too! I always try and come here for a toastie when I can - would recommend it over the chains in the station.

I wished l had been hungry enough to eat a grilled cheese sandwich. I had the free donut with my keenly priced cup of tea at £1.40. My server was chatty and very informative about all things Newcastle. He works long hours in this kiosk and treats every customer like they're kings and queens. Pay him more money !!!
