Stopped here for lunch midweek and I am glad we did. Food was perfect for what we wanted. I had a fish finger ciabatta and Mrs had chicken wrap both accompanied by French fries. Food came quickly and served by pleasant helpful staff. Thank you
Such a lovely bar tucked away, cocktails were 10/10 and very affordable on the 2 for 1 deal! 2 pizzas for £12 as well, delicious! Staff were friendly. Lovely roof terrace and good space for private events - hidden gem !
Visited on 21st January 2023. My GF and I had booked in for 2 bottomless brunches. Once we'd arrived I'd noticed restaurant week menu was on and I asked if I could do that and just buy my lager. (Not keen on bubbles) the waitress asked the manager and all was good. She then came over and sorted us out more than they had to. Ended up not having to pay as much as we thought. Honestly, fantastic customer service from the girl serving us and the Manager for giving us such a good deal. 5 star 🌟

The tapas options were generous, really tasty and good value (3 for the price of 2, i.e. £10). The short ribs and garlic prawns were a highlight. Modern decor and friendly service.
The young girl who works on the bar is so lovely, I’ve never got her name but she’s so chatty and always gives such a nice experience. It’s sad how quiet this place is during the week.
Nice place to visit when in newcastle,we had garlic bread.magarita pizza and chips.2 cocktails . Total price was less that £28.00 for me and my daughter. We will definitely be back.friendly staff very helpful
We went on Tuesday for our usual Tuesday night drinks, little did I know there was a fantastic surprise waiting for me. My wife had arranged for a surprise marriage reproposal for me & with family, friends & colleagues looking on I said yes.
The management & staff went above & beyond to make this a night we will never forget.

We went not for food just a few drinks and abit boogie!the DJ was playing funky soul,just what we were looking for...the barman took my unfinished drink(by mistake)of course...but happily apologised and replaced....well done YOLO x
Had our retirement do at YOLO....brilliant night, venue was lovely, buffet delicious, varied and well presented. Addtionally, the staff were so friendly and engaging, they couldn't do enough to make sure our night went smoothly. Special thanks to Kristin (Bar manager) who went the extra mile organising our photo slideshow and music play list and Audrey (Bar tender) who, despite the fact the smell made her queasy, ensured my Pernod & Black supply was maintained without interruption and in the perfect ratio. Thank you YOLO.
My favourite bar in Newcastle, great location and great Bar and atmosphere.. food nice and staff friendly.
