Nice Pub! Clean, great ambiance, good beers on tap. We didn't eat anything but the beer was cold and we truly enjoyed it.
Just moved to the area and decided to try the nearest watering hole - what a treat! Fabulous pint(s) of TT Landlord, lovely glass of Sauvignon blanc served by brilliant efficient staff, can’t wait to return.
Make sure you give your registration to bar staff otherwise it’s a ticket/fine. Nice beer and good atmosphere bar staff very friendly and attentive.
Nice chilled traditional pub, decent outdoor seating area and canny selection of boardgames to choose from!
Simply brilliant! Used to frequent some 10-15yrs ago and after moving back to the area popped in recently. The superpower of The Colly is the staff! So friendly and welcoming, if you’re after a proper drink in a proper pub you’ll hit the jackpot here.
Third time at this place and what a warm place with a warm welcome, the two young ladies I think it's Freda and Gemma made me feel so welcome after having a bad day it's just what was needed and the food 😀 is exceptional especially the jerk chicken wrap and chilli fries from Justin, go, chill, relax and enjoy the company and banter, you won't regret it.
A very welcoming atmosphere. Friendly fellow customers & a very nice lady behind the bar. Tops for service and choice of beverages. I was very impressed with the amount of different malts behind the bar, all top quality. I should know, I work for a drinks wholesaler who carries a vast menu of malts. Will visit again next time I am in Newcastle.
Wonderful pub. Great Beer. Traditional pub. Proper people...no woke, pc or loony left. I'll be back in tomorrow.
Great pint of Murphy's which is rare outside of Ireland. Lovely pub. Roaring fire and a friendly welcome. It's my new local. The food offering looks terrific too.
Cracking Ale, lovely staff, food was also very nice. Will be back.
