A cafe favoured by cyclists, some of whom bring their bikes on cars and park in the large (free) car park before starting their ride. Friendly staff who helped me out with something, and pleasant outside tables if it's sunny (they have indoor tables also). Clean toilets available. There's even a bike repair shop (Watbike) on site! So perhaps you could get some minor tweaks done to your bike while you relax with a coffee before or after your ride? Lost a 'star' because my flapjack was very dry, and I thought the menu was slightly on the expensive side (I appreciate people have to make a living), also the opening hours are surprisingly short: only open until 2:30pm even at the weekend, up to late April - although they do stay open later in summer.
Mostly caters for cyclists but anyone welcome, excellent coffee and scones with lots of other choice on the menu. Lots of outside seating, less so inside.
