We were late arriving (almost closing time) I and I was hungry!
Thankfully they had a good selection ready to go.
Food was delicious, portions generous and prices really fair.

Another visit today. We had cod and chips. Looking at the size of it. It’s almost the length of my forearm! Nice batter and delicious meal. Thank you to the lovely lady for the great service.

1st time trying Great North Chippy.
The owner is very friendly, the cod fish is large and comes in a tasty batter.
The chips portion is also large.
So if you want fish and chips, you should try this place!
You won't be dissapointed!

Food was excellent and fairly priced. Speed of service was brilliant - food cooked to order. Staff were friendly and chatty. Parking available outside the shop.

Ordered fish and chips. Tasty, but very oily. The fish batter got stuck to the paper which was wrapped.

Great chippy as there fish and chips are freshly made when you order it. The battered sausage was lovely and so was the mushy peas

First time trying this place and I have to admit my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed their Fish and Chips. Beautiful crispy battery with perfectly cooked cod. Outstanding and the lady behind the counter was very polite and friendly. Great food try it, you'll be pleasantly surprised!
