Rose, pistachio and almond cake was my favorite but as you can see we couldn't wait to dig in, so the food pictures are taken after our first bites. It is located inside the South Gosforth Central Park, has outdoor seating. The ambience of the place is very warm and inviting.
The staff are very warm.
Lovely, busy little cafe. I ate there yesterday for the first time having a chicken pesto mozzarella ciabatta sandwich. I added some fries (£4) to my order. It was delicious with lots of herby flavours including dill in the sandwich, which I enjoyed, tasty and fresh.
What was really remarkable was the lovely staff & that they were willing to go above the call of duty. Am grateful to them for their kindness, helping me with a loose shoelace when I was unable to do it myself (unprompted help I might add!)
All staff are friendly and welcoming and I look forward to many return visits when in Gosforth.

Few weeks ago we had the privilege of celebrating our baby shower in this great place. First time for both parts as we never had one before nor Etto. We had such an amazing experience all the way through, from communication to the actual day of the event. The management team helped us with every enquiry we had and the day was perfect. Highly recommend this place for the service, the food, the environment, the people who work there.
4 of us visited today for a coffee and catch up. For 4 ‘large’ lattes it was approx £14, which would be fine had they have been actually large lattes, as I feel the size was more of an average / regular size.
There is plenty of seating available inside and outside overlooking gosforth park. We decided to sit outside which was lovely.
The place offers a variety of cakes, coffee options and has a semi decent sized menu. After an hour, we decided to grab a little bite. 2 of us opted for the chicken/Bacon toasties (£8 each) 1 of us with the mushrooms on sourdough and myself with the poached eggs on sourdough toast with the addition of salmon. (£10+).
It’s a lovely little cafe, the service was great and the place is kept clean. I wouldn’t however say it was particularly good value for money for what you get though which is a shame.
Oh and the outside seating area means it’s dog friendly, which I imagine is a hit for those who fancy a pit stop whilst taking their pooches in the park.
Good coffee, good ambience.
Sourdough sliced thin.. can do better for food at that price.
Overall, a nice place for brunch.
Pleased to be the first one writing a review for this place. Such an amazing coffee spot with a lovely nice view. The quality of coffee is incredible. The staff were welcoming and smiling. Highly recommend this place.
What a gem of a place. My niece took me for lunch yesterday. Everything we ordered was fresh and cooked to perfection. We had a lovely, hot coffee after we had eaten. The staff were helpful and really friendly. What a fab place, we will be back soon!

Good selection of smoothies, although did still have some berries un-smoothified. Nice fresh scones with jam. Amazing service, quite busy, good atmosphere
My 2 year old son has allergies to dairy, egg, tree nuts and peanuts and I’m often nervous about going to cafes with him as they vary in how accommodating they are for people with allergies. When I went to Etto with him this week they were able to make him a ‘baby chino’ with chocolate on top which was all free from his allergens. He had never had this before and loved it! I noticed the person serving ensured that the milk frother was properly cleaned and he even made it luke warm so it wasn’t too hot for him. They even had dairy free butter for his toast too. I wish more restaurants were as accommodating. Will definitely be back again. Thanks!
Thank you. Always excellent for food, coffee and service. A perfect
Place for meeting family, friends or going alone. My 2 year old grandson says my baby chinos are not as good as here.
