Lovely relaxed cheerful place to enjoy a few drinks and a bite to eat before you fly. Really pleasant and safe environment for solo female traveller. Josh made a top notch cappuccino. Incredible range of cocktails and a decent range of alcohol free beer and gin for the teetotallers among us. All the staff were really friendly and welcoming. Can't recommend it enough.

The moment I walked in I was greeted by bar member David. He instantly made me feel welcome and made sure my glass was never empty. He has a fantastic attitude and clearly enjoys what he does. The bar was incredibly busy, but that didn’t seem to bother David. He made sure no one waited for their drinks for too long and they were made to a very good standard. The espresso martini he made me was delicious! It did not feel like I was in an airport bar! I would definitely come back the next time I fly from Newcastle!!
Today we were at the bar for my husband’s birthday, we heard some argument happening, we have to say that Kristina handled this with dignity and calmness. Well done to all involved. Kristina you handled this better than most people with someone screaming in your face. Try and have a great day xxx
Popped in for pre flight drinks and snacks yesterday, although having to wait to be seated, David, although busy tried to find us a table but none available so we took a seat at the bar, we asked about the wait on food and he advised that it was at least 30 minutes unless we had a selection of small plates which wouldn't take too long which he was right about too! Great knowledge of wine which wasn't expected from an airport bar. Not sure how he manages to keep going when he is trying to multi task! Can't wait to see the new bar and meet the new team when we travel again in January, hats off for the excellent service and food.

Absolutely fantastic. We mentioned we were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary and we had a table set up with balloons and banners. What a lovely little extra touch to start our holiday. Service was exceptional, very friendly and couldn't do more for us! Food was really nice and quickly served.
Lovely restaurant and ambiance, quiet in comparison to the other bars which is lovely. Great view of the airfield. Breakfast was served quick and staff were great.

Travelling with two babies on my own and was struggling to deal with them! Graham the chef very kindly took my youngest and entertained him so much so he didn’t want to come back. By far the nicest guy I have ever come across in hospitality. Talk about go above and beyond to help a customer. Thanks Graham, so kind.

Had a tasty meal and a little airport beer at Cabin before our flight. The team were lovely and welcoming, friendly and funny. The good food helped too. Thank you Josh, Poppy, Aleks and Graham the chef! Top team making the start of the holiday a treat too.
After having my flight delayed 7 hours I ended up spending most of the time in the Cabin Bar. I would really like to praise Josh and David on their excellent customer service, if you have some sort of reward and recognition system for your staff they would really deserve it!
Fabulous experience today at the cabin bar whilst our flight was delayed, great service to our table from our server Jack who was very helpful and attentive during really busy times, alongside all the other staff. Would happily come back next time!

Brilliant service, quickly seated, all staff lovely particularly David who was chatty and happy. Put us right in the holiday spirit. Clearly loves his job watching him work makes you smile 😃
