Lovely relaxed cheerful place to enjoy a few drinks and a bite to eat before you fly. Really pleasant and safe environment for solo female traveller. Josh made a top notch cappuccino. Incredible range of cocktails and a decent range of alcohol free beer and gin for the teetotallers among us. All the staff were really friendly and welcoming. Can't recommend it enough.
The moment I walked in I was greeted by bar member David. He instantly made me feel welcome and made sure my glass was never empty. He has a fantastic attitude and clearly enjoys what he does. The bar was incredibly busy, but that didn’t seem to bother David. He made sure no one waited for their drinks for too long and they were made to a very good standard. The espresso martini he made me was delicious! It did not feel like I was in an airport bar! I would definitely come back the next time I fly from Newcastle!!
Today we were at the bar for my husband’s birthday, we heard some argument happening, we have to say that Kristina handled this with dignity and calmness. Well done to all involved. Kristina you handled this better than most people with someone screaming in your face. Try and have a great day xxx

Well what a lovely bar! First time flying from Newcastle for our trip to Turkey. We were greeted promptly by the barman who even tho was busy acknowledged us staright away and assured us be would sort us a table out and asked his colleague to help. We had the chicken nachos and cauliflower tacos (cauliflower tacos amazing) David as we found out later doesn't stop, even takes the time to make sure we get a goodbye and thank you on the way out! Great service and great Mojhito too, we will be back September for sure!
Popped in for pre flight drinks and snacks yesterday, although having to wait to be seated, David, although busy tried to find us a table but none available so we took a seat at the bar, we asked about the wait on food and he advised that it was at least 30 minutes unless we had a selection of small plates which wouldn't take too long which he was right about too! Great knowledge of wine which wasn't expected from an airport bar. Not sure how he manages to keep going when he is trying to multi task! Can't wait to see the new bar and meet the new team when we travel again in January, hats off for the excellent service and food.
A lovely bar in Newcastle Airport. The bar manager Markus went out of his way to ensure all customers were well looked after. Love the personal service of this bar and it has a classy feel.

Barman David is fantastic. Such a hard worker and brilliant at his job. Really attentive and good craic as well. Thanks for the great experience and start to our holiday.
Lovely bar whilst waiting for departure, great view of the plans and David makes a fab Aperol !! What more can you want !!
