Caffe Nero

I suppose the most important thing about a coffee shop is that the coffee is GOOD 😊. I had a toasted sandwich thing as well which was also quite good .So was the chocolate cheesecake. I used to use Costa frequently... but haven't been back since they started using trans mastectomy images ... so Caffé Nero is now top of my list...while they steer clear of woke gimmicks. So, all good currently for cafe Nero except for one problem ...Strangely, your knives are AWFUL. While I am trying to cut my toasted sandwich in to finger food size, the sharp corners on the handle are drilling holes into the palm of my hand. Get some knives that live up to the rest of your standards!

Always enjoy Nero's coffee. The price increase of 20% in the last 18 months is a little high though. Staff are efficient and helpful and the only reason I'm not giving 5* is down to the terrible state of the outer concourse seating which is ripped old and tired. Won't stop me coming back but I witnessed a group a few weeks ago walk away due to the state of the outer seating .

Caffe Nero metrocentre. Always looks nice inside, well kept. Range of drinks (coffees, teas, coolers, fruit drinks are of good variation and always of a high quality) I especially enjoy this place over the xmas period when they bring out the cans range of drinks. Never yet tried the food here, though it is not limited to the usual fare of cakes and biscuits as they do a range of hit and cold sandwiches.

Consistently the best coffee of any of the high street chains. The cortado is always to notch. I also find the service at Nero is more genuine and friendly rather than the often scripted interactions elsewhere with the only objective being to up sell food. To me Nero is a haven when I'm on a day out at the MetroCentre.
