Maguires Fish And Chips - Newcastle upon Tyne - Photo album

This place can really be hit and miss. When it's good its really nice, but its a bit pot luck (had some pizzas that have been under/overcooked, fish that was wafer thin). But the latest we had was really good, the small fish and chips was huge and really tasty.
amazing fish and chips, freshly cooked. large portions of both. great value and service. will be coming here in future metrocentre/trips
Had the best experience in here tonight. The staff were lovely and showed a great act of kindness with another customer not often seen! The cod and chips we had were cooked fresh and absolutely spot on. Please support this business
Lovely chatty lady to serve you and the kebabs are lovely and hot. You get proper chippy chips too which I think are much better. Lovely xx
Great take away, large choice of food. Good service, prompt deliveries and competivaly priced.
Called in for fish and chips decided to eat them on site, the attached cafe next to the takeaway was clean but a bit dated needs bringing out of the eighties, we were served very quickly with regular cod and chips and I must say they were excellent, fish white and flaky, chips cooked to perfection,
Amazing fish and chips! Also tried the chicken curry and chips which was very tasty! Quick delivery.
It was ok, my fish was a bit greasy but they were super busy. Service was excellent. Woman serving really good. Portion - really generous. Quality - nice fresh white fish, clean chips, great curry sauce
Fish was really good but the chips need to be better
Decent meal deal. Large sausage, chips, curry sauce and drink about £4. Extra 20p for some cans though
Brilliant food and service! We ordered through UberEats and two items were not sent. Rang Maguires and explained and the guy was so nice and asked if I wanted a refund (we actually needed the items as they were someone’s tea) and when I said no he was more than happy to drop them off himself and did
I always dine in staff are friendly great choice of food and drink. Reasonably priced,. Not many spaces for dining in but I've never had issues finding a table for 3. God is good, good portions, only thing I don't like is their milkshakes, I'm sorry but thought they tasted terrible.
Best pizza and chips ever, love an excuse to go
Just a fairly ordinary fish and chip shop with a small cafe attached. Very popular at lunch time for a working man's lunch. Nothing outstanding but no negatives. My lunchtime favourite is a portion of scampi - 12 pieces, golden crisp.
This is a very good quality chippy and everything tasted crisp without the greasy hardness you can get in some places. No complaints from me at all about this place, the portions were large, the queue was fast-moving and they do accept card payments. For those wanting to try that northern delicacy t
