I had a lovely dining experience at this place. Absolutely amazing service, they hang your coat for you, come to ask how you enjoy your meal very often, and with a very polite and friendly attitude. The price for the set meal is affordable, and the quality of the food is totally worth it. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to go on a date or hang out with friends for a special occasion to come to this place, at least the experience I had is pretty good.

My daughter chose Dobson & Parnell for her 18th birthday family dinner. What a great intimate place. Just a stones throw from the busy Quayside, it's easy to miss this gem. We chose the classic 7 course taster menu. The presentation was beautiful. Each course was a delight. The serving staff explained the contents of each dish as each course was presented. It was an amazing experience. The staff were attentive without being overbearing. My daughter was given a glass of wine when staff asked whose 18th birthday it was when we arrived. We even scored for some cocktail cherries! Our children were surprised at how good they tasted. The bar overheard & sent over a plate. The sous chef visited the table, after our meal, as I had mentioned my daughter had finished her catering course at college & moving off to the lakes to start her career. He was very interested in what my daughter was saying. We also discussed the menu & our highlights. I honestly cannot recommend this place enough. It truly is a dining experience. Thank you all for a special night.

My recent birthday celebration was an unforgettable experience that exceeded all expectations. The thoughtful surprise orchestrated by my girlfriend left me grinning from ear to ear. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were treated with utmost care and attention. The tasting menu with wine pairing was a masterpiece. The beetroot tartare with pine and shallot, accompanied by the smoked cods roe gougere, showcased a harmonious blend of flavors. The Wye Valley asparagus, served with wild garlic and potato cream, was a testament to the use of fresh, seasonal ingredients. However, the three dishes that really stood out to me: - Chalk stream trout, complemented by dill and mint aguachile, was a standout dish that delighted the palate. - Yorkshire lamb, enhanced by red pepper, celeriac, and pickled ginger, showcased the chef's masterful preparation and attention to detail. - Mango white chocolate cremeux with toasted coconut provided a sweet conclusion to the meal. Each course was expertly paired with wines that elevated the dining experience to new heights. The service was exceptional. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel like honored guests. Their guidance throughout the evening added a personal touch and enhanced the overall experience. My birthday celebration was a true culinary adventure. The exquisite food, coupled with the impeccable service, made it an evening to remember. I wholeheartedly recommend Dobson & Parnell to anyone seeking a remarkable dining experience. Apologies, not the best photos. But you get the idea.

Absolutely stunning venue, service and food. The attention to detail in every single dish, from the complementary bread & small taster to the main event, is absolutely flawless. Staff were attentive without being overbearing and service was quick. Cannot wait to return to try future menus.

The service here was excellent & we enjoyed the vibes of the restaurant. I also really liked the cocktails. The food was fine. Which is not really a compliment when you're talking about a high end tasting menu. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was in any way remarkable either.

The restaurant is in the Michelin guide, is set in a nice room with excellent service. The restaurant was quite busy so may need to be booked for a weekend dinner We tried the 5 course tasting menu and whilst there is a wine pairing option, we selected a bottle of wine from the wine list. All of the courses were tasty, to a good standard and well presented. One duck dish was not to my taste but there was no issue with the cooking of it. All in all, a nice experience and a nice night out. Recommended.

Enjoyed every part of my 5 course tasting menu (with allll the extra cheese). They did so well accommodating my gluten free diet/coeliac disease and I didn't felt the adapted dishes were any less because of that. Gluten free bread was okay but i feel like some progress could be made in that department. That aside, everything was superb. Thank you we'll be back!

Named after two Victorian architects who designed the beautiful building it’s located in. The dining room was cozy but not crowded with a lot of the original architectural features. Well suited for group the music was at an ambient level, the high ceiling did not amplify the conversations, so we weren’t competing with the other groups. Service was excellent and well paced. The servers were attentive to every detail but did not hover over the table. The food was an elegant modern take on classic British cuisine. They offer a choice of a seasonal set menu or 5-7 course tasting menu. We started with bread served with a seaweed butter. For my starter I enjoyed a carrot soup served over a salad of lightly pickled carrots. My main was the venison sausages very hearty. And others in my group enjoyed the roast chicken, fishcake and the salt baked fennel tart. I had the trio of sorbet for pudding but had I room for it the sticky toffee pudding or cheese plate look great.
