My first visit to GDK Sunderland and have to say it was insane. Charlotte who was behind the counter serving was beautiful with a gorgeous smile. Super friendly and helpful. She talked us through the menu and Mum and I decided on the OG Kebab. It was beautiful and very generous portion. I didn’t think I’d eat it all. But as it was so very good I managed it all. Delicious and a lovely clean eating area. Thank you 😊

Amazing. Ordered a beef donee wrap for the first time. One of the best I’ve had. It is not greasy and when you take a bite you don’t have sauce dripping or pouring out of the wrap. The proportion of sauce is in fact perfect. The meat is right. The vegetables are fresh and crunchy. Love it. Keep it up!

The OG mixed kebab I had was delicious and a really different offering to what's available nearby. The bread is like a crusty bap with great crunch. The sauce covering the meat and salad is like a creamy dill sauce - really delicious could have had another. Chips were fresh. Toppings are OK but for 50p extra for sauce or powder you don't get much extra. The powder should be max 20p more. Cheese sauce should be more generous. There's a great range of drinks here (no alcohol). On the meal deal you get the standards cans or water, or pay 50p more for the fancier drinks like raspberry lemonade. On Tuesdays there's a great 2 for 1 deal on mains but be aware this finishes sharp at midnight. So if you are out on Tuesday night don't expect them to honour this deal even if it's 1 minute past midnight. That's one thing that feels a bit off here - some of the staff don't seem to be so happy to be working here even on a quiet night. Guess you can't have everything! But the food was spot on this time. 💯 Recommend
