My husband and I just loved this restaurant. We had a 2 day stay in Newcastle, (Slieve Donard) and both nights we went to this cosy little restaurant. We were made so welcome and the food was not only delicious but top quality and large portions. They had to roll us out of there. The prices were so cheap, too bad it is not in Australia we would eat there every night. The staff were so friendly, and the owner is a genuine and lovely person. I would rate this 10 if I could.

Villa Vinci never disappoints. Food & service is always 1st class. It’s our go-to place when treating friends. Celebrated a few birthdays there. Can confidently recommend.

Excellent food, lovely staff and quick service. Food portions, particularly for the kids, are generous and well priced. If your are coming here, book in advance to avoid disappointment, as it is always busy.

absolutely delicious, we had a sloppy pizza, cajun chicken pizza, and a gluten free spicy Italian sausage pasta, good portion sizes. It was really busy we we arrived and we hadn't booked but they did manage to get us a table, service was good and was not long waits for our food to arrive. Would we recommend, definitely

Could not get through on the phone to book a table however, I walked around and it was clear to see why they couldn't answer. They were full. The staff were great and were able to get us a reservation. Upon arrival our table was ready, a space for a wheelchair was already made and a baby highchair in place. This meant there was no fuss/attention drawn to us. As I already said the staff were great all of them, friendly and professional. As for the food, well we all loved our meals to the point we were boasting how our meal was the best choice. So wheelchair and child friendly, situated in a good location. Staff great and food amazing, highly recommend.

Food and service were very good. At certain times it's very busy so I'd recommend booking.

We had a pasta and pizza dish, both were excellent. As others have mentioned this place is popular as nice restaurant food seems to be a rarity in Newcastle and people flock to this place. Vegetarian options are very limited but i have found this is often the case in rural Ireland.

A great evening celebrating a big birthday. On a busy Saturday night staff were very attentive and the food was just amazing. Also good value (hard to find these days). I had a lovely scallop & black pudding starter. For my main I had pappardelle alla Bistecca Thin slices of Angus sirloin steak pan-fried with bacon and mushrooms finished in a caramelised butter, Pecorino & Reggiano cheese and wilted baby spinach sauce tossed through Pappardelle pasta delicious!! I thoroughly recommend!

There is a reason why you have to book in advance and that is because this is the best restaurant in Newcastle. The pizza, service and cleanliness were all fabulous for a very reasonable price as well, so I will definitely return when back in Newcastle.

Nice little restaurant with decent quality food. The staff were very helpful and the service was really fast. The pizza in particular was really good with generous portions for the kids.
