We went to the Kilcot Inn for a meal last night and we were amazed at the food probably the best meal out I have ever had. Our starters took a little while but all freshly cooked and piping hot. John chose the scotch egg and I had the fishcake both were so tasty. For our mains John had the cider battered fish and I had the burger which was amazing. Only I managed to squeeze in a pudding and the sticky toffee pudding was beautiful. Service was so friendly and welcoming and nothing was to much trouble. Our only regret is that we found it at the end of our visit instead of the start. Hopefully we will be back.

Have enjoyed lunch and dinner at the Kilcot on a number of occasions and most recently for Christmas lunch. It's always first rate and I'm more than happy to recommend the excellent food and friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

Had an amazing lunch here today. Lovely cosy pub and dog friendly in the bar area. Log fire was on as it was a very cold day. The food was faultless and such good value for its standard. Service was friendly and attentive, couldn’t ask for more. What a lovely little find. We’ll definitely be back soon.

Highly recommended country pub. My husband and I visited today for lunch and had a delicious Sunday roast, in fact it's one of the best I've had! The staff are all super friendly and welcoming, we will definitely return if we're in the area again.

Camping nearby, booked a table for 2 nights. Good choice of food. Well cooked hot food, decent portions, hot plates. Whitebait to share as a starter both nights. Steak and fish and chips first night, lamb shank both of us second night. Lovely Merlot. First night locals were in, nice to see. Second night a large group of seniors celebrating a birthday. It was probably a good job we arrived before they did as we may have had to have waited a while for our meals. First night waitress charming, second night different waitress could have been slightly happier. Overall would visit again.

Had a really lovely lunch here last sunday. The roast was very good and well cooked (and im extremely fussy). Big portions, lots of very fresh and not soggy greens, lashings of gravy and good quality meat. The desserts were delicious!!! As an F&B owner myself i know how hard it is to find staff at the moment but the whole team were great. We particularly loved the new owner who we had the pleasure of meeting when he showed us the rooms (they looked lovely too, very clean and nice attention to detail). Thanks all and we will be back !

We have been in on many occasions for a drink and have booked in for Christmas day lunch. Staff are outstanding and make you feel wanted. Dogs are made welcome, and the Gardens are kept nice. On the whole, a lovely experience.

Great food and accommodation. Friendly staff, tasty dishes on the menu and with large portions they seem good value for money. There are plenty of tables that provide some privacy if you want a romantic dinner for two. They have a large car park outside, garden seating with playground for kids. The room we stayed at was in the renovated old part of the building with very low ceiling, felt cosy with comfortable bed. The bathroom was spacious with both a bath tub and walk-in shower.

During our Motorhome overnight stopover, we had the pleasure of staying at the Kilcott Inn. The place is absolutely stunning! The interior was beautiful, and the food and service provided were beyond exceptional. Without a doubt, we plan to return for another visit later this year. Highly recommended!

I had the fish & chips which was absolutely gorgeous my hubby had the belly pork which came with lots of fresh veg and my eldest daughter had the gammon with 2 fried eggs and pineapple all our meals were piping hot and very fresh, we were on hol in our caravan close by and this place caught our eyes as we drove past, it was very affordable and the hosts were very attentive, the building itself is packed full of charming character and lovely to admire, well worth a visit especially if you have a doggie x

Visited the pub today with my family and 2 children, we all ate. The food was absolutely insane, so fresh, so much flavour , overall fantastic. They gave us colour and books for the kids . The beer garden is fab! A stunning park and plenty of room for the dog to casually stroll around! Thankyou for having us x

We decided to walk here as we were staying near-by and it was the only pub close. Lovely reception on arrival, a very nice quiet and quaint pub. The owner was very friendly throughout. We then decided to re-fuel before leaving and opted to eat in. The food was really nice from the starters to the mains, not a thing left on either of our plates. All in all a very enjoyable evening and if we are staying in the area again we will be sure to visit. Thanks 😊
