Superb food best chilli I've had for a while good quality beef, lovely staff, great prices, coke tastes like coke should. 5* and we always come here when we are in the area

Stayed here as a pub stop off in the camper for one night on 22nd September.
Great pub!!
Lovely friendly staff and locals, made us feel very comfortable from the start.
Our dogs were made very welcome too.
Food was delicious and big portions.
Both the food and drinks were very reasonable priced.
Would totally recommend going there!

We had very tasty food, sweet and sour followed by sticky toffee pudding . Good quality foos and well sized portions. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. I hope to vist again. God Bless.

Two nights stay in our camper van on site at this fantastic Pub, we will definitely be returning!!!
From the second we walked in we were greeted with friendly staff and an amazing classic pub vibe. The food and drinks were top notch and very reasonably priced.
If staying in a camper I suggest call ahead and book a table for food because it seems to book up quickly which is always a good sign.

Been in Newent since Jan and ate here approx twenty times I’ve been working my way through the changing menu and every meal is excellent reasonably priced best pub food I’ve had definitely worth a visit.

Go on a sunday for the Sunday lunch high quality cuts of meats that will melt in your mouth. I tend to go for the Salt Marsh Lamb because that's the best option for the roast because it is a good price for the quality it is.
Brilliant service, the staff are friendly and will serve you after a couple minutes after your table.
Make sure to book a table in advance because this Sunday Lunch is an award winning sunday lunch.

Called in on the way from Ross to Gloucester.
Best pub meal we've had for a long time. Great staff, atmosphere, clean, lovely food at a great price, nice range of drinks.
