It's a few years since we came here and at the time were disappointed. We thought food portions were rather small and the wine overpriced.
Apparently the establishment is under different management and things have greatly improved. We had a burger with chips and a bottle of house wine all for under £40 for the two of us.
One very minor criticism is that the plates were unheated. Nevertheless, the food was hot and of good quality. We will be here again.

Fab pub to grab some drinks and grub prior to the ferry check in. Not too far from the ferry terminal, but you'll still have to cycle a few mins or walk 10ish or so

Pub where you can relax with a good beer in the evening or with a daily special at lunchtime. The setting is very pleasant and the welcome friendly.

Gary Power's Ibiza night always bang on.
Credit to the bar staff. They didn't stop.
Drinks were a bit expensive but the music and vibe more than made up for it.

Absolutely brilliant pub great atmosphere friendly staff food was amazing the garden was beautiful and a great sun trap beautiful view from the front seating area right next to the river very Close if waiting for the ferry to France great bands though out the summer and also the breakfast at the weekend very much needed after a night out

A gem of a pub right on the waterfront at Newhaven harbour. The staff were friendly and the food was excellent. The beer was in good condition as well. Thanks for an enjoyable evening.
