Came here for lunch and sat upstairs on the balcony - it was superb. The service, food and atmosphere are all excellent and we will definitely be back! (Btw - I don’t give bad reviews - and I don’t give average reviews, I only give one if I think somewhere is excellent 👍🏻). I’m quite fussy when I have mussels and my bowl of them here was delicious - I had the starter portion and it was huge! The mussels were perfectly cooked and still plump. To me, the sign of a good restaurant is whether I want to come back - and I definitely do. Our waitress has been so attentive and accommodating - and there is.no pressure to leave - why would you want to when you’re looking out on St Michael’s Mount and the harbour in Newlyn?

Fantastic view, great food & selection of drinks. The bar staff were onto it, very accommodating and all round legends. Best service we’ve had all holiday. Pet friendly. What more could you ask for. Will definitely be coming back and would recommend. Best restaurant in Newlyn & Penzance. Wish I could have attached some photos of the food, however we demolished all of it before I had a chance!

You get an amazing view sat on the terrace. The waitress was fantastic and despite being on her own was very attentive. The food was lush. We came as a family and the kids had the pasta which they loved.

Fantastic food, service and atmosphere!! Perfect date night location! The staff were accomodating and accepted our last minute reservation. Plenty of seating options, both indoor, outdoor and on both levels. The burger was well worth every penny, the succulent meat and decent portion of fries. We got 3 sides to share, and the chorizo one was the highlight. The grilled peach halloumi salad was a tad on the oily side, but you can taste the earthy notes of the olive oil (great if you have a bread to share). The camembert was amazing, but probably too rich just for 2 people. Decent selection of brew and cocktails. We were well impressed with the interior deco and lights, very cosy. The second storey overlooked the Newlyn habour and it was just stunning to be overlooking the Penzance nightscape.

A modern makeover of an older building, the emphasis is on food, but the drinks are pretty good too. A view over the harbour is great from the front of the pub .

Lovely meal for 4 while on holiday in the area. All ate off the specials board for starters and main courses. Service was excellent- warm and friendly, efficient but not rushed. Enjoyed a post dinner cocktail on the terrace which was a perfect finish to the evening. Only slight gripe was with the cheeseboard I ordered - cheese was still chilled so didn't get the full flavour I should've and didn't understand the frozen grapes? Still would definitely recommend

Great sea and Cornish inspired food. Lovely view of the working harbour. Well worth a walk up the hill from the village centre.

Amazing harbour side restaurant. Excellent service and very kind staff. The food itself was amazing and very fresh. We ordered the linguine with incredible prawns and famous crab meat and the hake catch of the day. However, our favourite was the mussels, generous portion and the tastiest mussels I believe I've ever had. Would highly recommend

Great little pub on the front in Newlyn. Outside seating area is a great place to while away and afternoon watching the comings and goings in the harbour. Good selection of drinks and a good menu to boots. Would most definitely recommend the Newlyn crab sandwich!
