Amazing food and service! I think it's one of the best Indian restaurants we've ever been to and we've seen many around the world. We have gone many times since we lived here and will continue to go often. The butter chicken and korma are excellent. We also love the coconut rice and fig naan. We've tried many things on the menu, and you just can't really go wrong.
I highly recommend such a lovely place.
Fabulous quality food and friendly service, I was quickly seated and served. The menu is straightforward and the food is prepared to order. The flavours are unique and unlike many restaurants, the food isn't oily or sharp tasting - the spices are cooked properly and blended with ingredients that balance the flavours. The rice was fresh and fluffy and the garlic naan was light and flavoursome. Thank you to the nice young man who served me, good luck with your MBA studies!
Me and my family absolutely love this restaurant, we visit this twice every weekend my parents visit me! Pictures 1-3 show a variety of curries we like (korma, tikka, butter chicken, Dhaba, a paneer curry) + rice and garlic naans! In the last pictures, you can see the tasting menu, which was also really good and filling. The prices are extremely reasonable given the incredible and unmatched quality of the food. Without a doubt, the best Indian food we have ever tried thus far. The staff are always incredibly lovely, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is cosy and quiet.
Excellent restaurant in heart of Newmarket with friendly welcome and beautifully cooked food. Menu has less choice than many curry houses but each dish shows more care and attention as a result. Very busy but enough staff to cope and service still excellent.
We were in the area and took a punt. What a lovely experience. The food is a cut above your general curry and it was great to see railway curry. For those who have experienced this in India this is the real deal. We ordered a selection of all sorts and loved it all. Will definitely come back. We are total curry nuts. Not a vindaloo or madras in sight!!
Excellent service, great staff, and really outstanding, memorable food with clean and fresh flavours. Try ALL of the chutneys with the poppadoms, try the fig and coriander naan, if you have room, try the seared pineapple dessert.
I’ve been here multiple times for both takeaway and dine in. It’s the best Indian in the area. I understand that the food is inspired by the Kerala region, providing lots of choice and new dishes that you don’t normally find on an Indian menu. All food is fresh, fragrant and full of flavour. Staff are always excellent - very hospitable, prompt and friendly. The restaurant has great decor and a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend!
This was the best Indian cuisine experience we have had so far after many travels. The service was exquisite, and the food itself was incredibly flavourful. The restaurant was decorated stylishly and the price was more than reasonable. Will definitely return again.
The food was great and the service was friendly and helpful and nice atmosphere. It was a nice treat for my partners birthday and they even gave her a birthday ice-cream.
Absolutely delicious food and great service to go with. Such great flavour and quality, and the chef was able to make one of the dishes slightly spicier at our request - it tasted great! Also the best cheese naan I've ever had!
