Benebene Waffle & Ice Cream

Good selection of kwartha ice cream flavours at reasonable prices, nothing spectacular. Was told at the checkout that I could not order the crepes because of high customer volume which was a huge disappointment. Fresh fruit Mango smoothie barely tasted like mango, tasted more like straight up ice. Even when it melted down, just tasted like mildly favoured water. I’m sure it is fresh fruit, but defin not a lot of it…Not worth $5.99. Would not come here again.

Got ice cream with my family here today. Staff were rushing us and my 3 year old changed his mind and wanted a different flavour. They said because it was already scooped he couldn't change it. I also asked how many ice creams there were in total on the receipt and the cashier snapped at me simply for asking. Do yourself a favour and drive up the road to Kawartha dairy where the customer service is great and you can get the same ice cream.

Used to be good. Newer owners are awful. Place is dirty. They don’t even speak to customers that are there. They seem grumpy. Paid $15 for ice cream and then wanted a water for $1. Gave them my card and the guy pointed to a sign that says minimum $2 for credit. I just paid $15 five minutes prior. Stay away from this dirty hole.

Not family friendly. It’s too bad the ice cream is great but the staff are consistently rude. We have visited multiples times but this will be our last strictly due to the customer service. They yell at you when you ask for “kid/ baby scoops” and try to make you buy the single scoops. Customers behind us received the same treatment and left with the same bad service.
