OMG £5 meal was total amazing. Ham, egg, beans and real home cooked chips. Can't wait to go again next month as I want to try the fish fingers . Landlord is really friendly and very accommodating. We have our WI commettee meeting once a month there, and reserves us some tables. Lovely cosy friendly place.

Really good experience, we have lived a 2 minute walk away for nearly 2 years but hadn't managed to get over until today.
It was great, nice and quiet, really friendly staff but not intrusive, good prices and great portions.
I am a fussy eater due to my autism but there were more than enough options on the menu for me. I ordered the cheese and potato pie, and it came with chips and beans, which came on one plate, but it was all plated separately on that plate, which means i can choose how things mix.
We wish we had gone sooner, we will be back and we will bring more people.

Not somewhere that comes to mind when looking for a Sunday roast but oh my god it was so good. The service, quality of food and value for money was exceptional. Definitely deserves its 3rd place in the Argus top 10 - highly recommended

Lovely pub, the landlord/lady were very welcoming, came here when staying in the ibis hotel because the reviews were good and well deserved. The food was amazing large portion and very reasonable prices, good selection of beer. The place is very lively. Very enjoyable.
