Sheer Pink

Favourite place for drinks the food the most amazing drink it’s called an indigo latte it’s by far the best thing I’ve ever drank (and I’m a bit of coffee addict) the coffee art it lovely everything seems to be done correctly and Steamed well I believe alternative milks don’t cost any extra. Only one table but I appreciate it as it’s more of a coffee stop however it’s so lovely inside I always enjoy sitting in and the coffee machine is a pink which is very pleasing. Loadsssss of books to read on many topics as well as magazines and lovely workers/ the owner is lovely definitely recommend

I'm really happy that Sheer Pink has arrived in Newport. The space is gorgeous (I love the pink espresso machine) and its charm is in inverse proportion to its interior dimensions. Emma and her team are all very welcoming and friendly and it's easy to strike up an easygoing rapport with them, almost like baristas you've been visiting for years. Then there's the coffee. Other coffee shops in Newport, or the Island for that matter, rarely have more than one roast on but Sheer Pink seems to have at least 2 filters on the go as well as at least 1 roast on the machine (and I've probably missed 1 or 2). I only drink black coffee so am thrilled to be able to visit somewhere with choices. The retail offering is very enticing, I bought an Ethiopian coffee and had the first brew of it this morning. The label says raspberry and honey flavours and it is certainly distinctly fruity and different from the more citrusy Ethiopian coffees I've had previously. And very enjoyable! I haven't managed to make it onto the small table inside (as it's certainly popular), having read the other reviews I will seek out the cobbled courtyard next time though.
