Local business for local people. Lovely cafe with nice atmosphere. Following all the measures of COVID. Really helpful staff. Clean n tidy cafe. Cool table service. Love their bakery section. Really reasonable prices. Been there for tea n coffee but end up with other stuff. Nice location in high street for having a view from big window.

Family run cafe with lovely staff who treat you as friends rather than customers. Generous portions, reasonable prices with coffee that tastes like coffee rather than the hot, weak and watery stuff that you get in other places! Definitely recommend, especially the cheese on toast and the treacle tart 🙂 Support local to keep fab places like this from closing! 👍

Absolutely brilliant independent cafe. There is soo much choice on the menu. The coffee is really nice and the portions are generous. The staff are great, really friendly and welcoming. It's child friendly as they have a child zone at the back of the cafe. If you're looking for a new local coffee house then look no further.

We wanted to try an independent coffee shop in Newport while out shopping. The Kettle was recommended to us. The coffee was one of the best we had in a while, the cakes were gorgeous and the toasties were good too. We would visit again

Wow I'm super impressed, the decor of this cafe is lovely, it's clean and tidy. The tea and coffee is absolutely amazing and the food was superb. Generous sizes and reasonable prices. Staff are very friendly. By far the best cafe in town.

Visited twice and only been open 2 weeks. Coffee was good as was the tea. Nice decor. Was at one time a Starbucks. Very quiet and could benefit from some low level music. Located under the historic Westgate Hotel.
