It turns into a night club late evenings on weekends. Karaoke all day an early evening mix of ages, great fun and get to know others. Joining bar/lounge via door. Disabled toilets, bar staff an manager excellent. Cheap drinks an cocktails. Big screens for matches and sofas an outdoor area. In night 4 different clubs on each floor different music. Down side if you stay an pay during day , when they swap it to club you have to pay for [Re-entry]

brilliant atmosphere in this pub , great staff , had a fabulous time so make a effort to go every week 😁 cheap rounds an good laugh karaoke to disco to live music. night time turns into a nightclub. all very polite and there is a quiet area in lounge to sit and a bar. highly recommend if visiting Wales or travelling down from Cardiff or valleys etc. great for match daýs to watch and outsidesitting with shelter. loved spending time with my family and extended then meeting friends later on. its a proper knees up bar if you enjoy all the above anda great laugh. you don't have to drinkjust alcholto have a great time

Decent place for a decent night out can get quite muggy but different rooms for all different types of scenes and people good popular music played all the time and can spend the majority of the night here it isn't too expensive and it's probably one of the best places in Newport. Multiple bars so queues aren't long and cheap entry. They are also very decent in other ways like helping the homeless when it was snowing.

This is a nice friendly pub which also does food at very reasonable prices. I went on this occasion to celebrate my friend's birthday. We were there on a Friday afternoon and joined in the karaoke 🎤.... (well, I didn't as I have an atrocious voice!) but I must say we had a fantastic time and will certainly be going back there again.

I unexpectedly met up with an old friend and The Courtyard was the pub chosen to go to. I'm really pleased that we went. It was on a Friday and Karaoke was on, not that I sing but there was some real good talent there. Also on the plus side........ Plates of sandwiches were handed round to all in the pub, regardless of whether they were singing or not! A very good place to attend and really good prices as well. Definitely a place to visit.
