The cheese, onion and black pudding cobs were delicious, well worth a try.

If you want a bit of history about Newport, there are photos of how it used to look like years ago. Staff are friendly, toilets are on site, the tables are very clean.
Good selection of cold snacks, love the blackpudding, cheese & onion Cob washed down with a great selection of Ales. All served with a Smile!

The new landlord here is brilliant and really friendly. Very welcoming and can't do enough for you. As well as that there is a great choice of beer and cider. The best pub in Newport by far.

Since Dean took over this pub is the place to be. The new decor is comfort with style, the staff are the friendliest you'll find anywhere, and the Landlord knows virtually everyone by name. The beer is always well kept and a wide variety. On top of that the food is excellent....the best Cheese Cobs
