If you want a bit of history about Newport, there are photos of how it used to look like years ago. Staff are friendly, toilets are on site, the tables are very clean.

Beer always well served (every time we have visited), prices clearly displayed on a TV screen. Refurbished decor and plenty of real ale options available.

Lovely range of Black Country brewery cask ales and ciders including mild and sloe cider!
The cheese, onion and black pudding cobs were delicious, well worth a try.
Dog friendly with blankets, toys, treats and water bowls.

The new landlord here is brilliant and really friendly. Very welcoming and can't do enough for you. As well as that there is a great choice of beer and cider. The best pub in Newport by far.

Absolutely beautiful pub. Friendly and welcoming, always time for a chat from the staff and managers. Absolutely spotless and very very clean.
Sounds daft but, its a pleasure to use the loo and they are immaculate!!, unlike some places. Keep up the good work and see you all again soon!

Since Dean took over this pub is the place to be. The new decor is comfort with style, the staff are the friendliest you'll find anywhere, and the Landlord knows virtually everyone by name. The beer is always well kept and a wide variety. On top of that the food is excellent....the best Cheese Cobs ever!
