Fishtails Cafe

Probably the best breakfast in Newport! The chicken fried steak was obviously made with love. Where else have you gotten chicken fried steak that was obviously made in house? Cafes that make their own gravy care enough that I bet everything is good! The stuffed french toast is divine and started my pregnant wife's birthday off in the best way. Way more food than we could eat there, will be coming back here every time we are in Newport.

Oh My Goodness, We stumbled upon this, and had a most amazing breakfast. My wife and I shared our orders and they were great. Salmon Hash, I've never even thought of it, but holy cow it was really good. Then my wife had the Marionberry French Toast, It is a MUST have. very delicious, not too sweet, and HUGE. Additionally, the bacon was a fantastic side to it all. Great service and wonderful food.

We had excellent food and service at Fishtails Cafe. I ordered the special, which was Dungeness crab cakes served with eggs, home fries, and toast. I topped my crab cakes with my over easy eggs instead. It was amazing! My husband had the salmon hash with over easy eggs and toast, and topped it with his eggs as well. He was very pleased with his meal and had zero leftovers! The other members of our party had the Marionberry French toast (truly to die for), pancakes (perfectly cooked and fluffy), a giant cinnamon roll (house-made), and the children's pancake (rabbit-shaped!). All of the breads, including sourdough, are house made! The toast was served with delicious Marionberry jam. Everything was excellent, the service was prompt and friendly, and the dishes were reasonably priced.
