The catch of the day was divine!! Served with perfectly cooked vegetables-seriously perfectly cooked!! I don’t usually eat cooked carrots and don’t usually talk about them when there is delicious fish involved but dang they were great. We also had the margarita flight which was served in a cute display and were all very yummy and fun. And the prices were so reasonable. Real delicious fresh food cooked perfectly. Can’t get much better!!

Great service & food! The Chinook salmon was done to perfection although the salmon flavor was a bit muted leading me to think it may be farmed. The clams, chowder, & calamari were all very delish as well!

Best black cod tacos and sweet potato fries I have had. Definitely recommend Pacific Kitchen at Nye Beach.

The crab & shrimp macaroni and cheese was to die for! We sat in the outdoor patio and enjoyed the cool ocean breeze plus it was dog friendly! The service staff were attentive and kind. I give it five shrimp! 😍 🍤 🍤 🍤 🍤 🍤

Decided to try dinner here during a recent stay in Newport, partly because it was within walking distance from the hotel and partly because the online menu looked appealing. It turned out to be an excellent choice! It was kind of crowded despite being fairly early in the evening, but we got seated in the quieter bar area and service was still prompt. Steamer clams are a must for me whenever I'm on the coast, so we ordered those and then decided on the fish tacos and the Newport Catch, both of which were made from the catch of the day brought in by a particular fishing boat. And both were absolutely phenomenal. My fish was so flaky it wouldn't even stay on my fork. The combination of flavors in both dishes was outstanding. The server was even kind enough to go back to the kitchen and get some more info on the baja sauce when we inquired about it; I'm gonna have to try to make some next time I have fish tacos at home. We also went ahead and ordered dessert, which we RARELY do at restaurants, and they were kind enough to pack it up in to-go containers for us to take back to the hotel. Hello chocolate lava cake with Tillamook vanilla ice cream. Oh, that's the other thing; so much of what this restaurant offers is locally sourced, and there's actually a big board by the front door showing all of their community and regional partners and suppliers, which I thought was really cool.
I will definitely be stopping here again next time I'm in Newport.

It has been close to 15 years since I’ve visited Oregon and my old restaurant was no longer here, but the reviews looked good so I decided to try Pacific Kitchen at Nye Beach and I wasn’t disappointed! We started by splitting the Blue Cheese Wedge salad and it was cold, crisp and just the right size for the two of us. The Fresh Catch was Black Cod and was sautéed with garlic and butter with lemon to perfection. The accompanying grilled mixed vegetables were delicious and the yellow rice was very flavorful. My better half said the Fish and Chips were the best he had during the whole trip, however he felt the tartar sauce was too sweet. I decided to try the Spring Break Cocktail and it was light and refreshing. Our server Makayla was very attentive. The place is very cute inside. Make sure to check out the bar area. Will be back!

Crab cocktail was a tasty treat. The fish tacos were the best thing we had. It was busy so seating was limited and it wasn't a speedy lunch but it was worth the wait. Menu was labeled gluten free so that made it easy to chow down!

Berry lemon drop was amazing choice for those who a sweet and tart at the beginning but have alcohol feeling seeps in smoothly.
Dungeness crab cake was perfect for a starter, the Harrisa dipping sauce. It is an appetizer so really recommend getting one each if you have a date or someone dining with you.
Grilled Chicken with Promesco was an incredible and filling entrée. The promesco sauce was amazing with the blanched vegetables. The risotto rice complemented the whole dish perfectly. A great choice for those who aren’t really feel the seafood cravings.

I had the fresh local fish and it was one of the best preparations of fish I've ever had in a resteraunt, perfectly cooked. I was very impressed that they had many offerings from local fisherman as well as others from the region. The vegetables were plainly seasoned, clearly fresh, and well prepared , the rice wasn't anything remarkable. The oysters were good but I prefer the in the shell presentation, I wouldn't have them again prepared that way, not that they were bad it was just different and I didn't particularly care for the sweetness of the cocktail sauce, which comes already served with the oyster. We also ordered a chicken salad with a berry dressing, it was as expected, great just not on the level of the fish, which was exceptional.
