Mazatlan Restaurant

Ordered the Taco Salad Cazuela (W/ SHELL) for $18.50. I think it was originally something like eleven bucks to start, but I got steak as a substitute and had them add black beans, which apparently they don't normally add... oh! And there's some kind of a sauce that's typically on the dish, which I asked to be put on the side. Pretty sure it was just omitted all together as I couldn't find anything of the sort when I got home. Anyways, the food smelled excellent and actually tasted very good as well.... Not like knock your socks off mind blowingly amazing, but super tasty and I'd most definitely eat here again. My food consisted of a bowl shaped flour tortilla, deep-fried & filled with steak, lettuce, cheese, black beans and sour cream and guacamole. I opted for no tomatoes. Side note, the waitress was polite, helpful and friendly. She seemed more than competent at her job and was prompt and professional.

I ordered chicken fajitas which I usually do at every Mexican restaurant I go to. I thought they looked like they had sauce on them and was not very optimistic. I was wrong. Best dang fajitas I've ever had. I also dislike spicy stuff but the salsa was so delicious. My fiancé loved his food. The chips were so yummy. I'll be eating here every time I come to town. Please tell the cook he makes bomb fajitas!

I really enjoyed my dish, the shrimp was delicious! There were 5 big shrimp perfectly cooked with a little spicy flavor, the onion tasted good and also the mushrooms in it. I also liked the chips which were warm when they served it. Friendly nice service, colorful decorations. Food portion big, had to take a big box home.
