Great lunch today outside next to the exhibition court.
We had a lobster roll with French fries. The brioche bun was spot on and warm. There was a lot of lobster meat and not too much mayonnaise. A real treat ! Would definitely come back and recommend!

We just enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner compliments of La Forge Restaurant in Newport with their buy & donate Thanksgiving dinner program. Haven’t been to La Forge in quite a few years, but decided to go back on a Tuesday night when we just didn’t feel like cooking. And boy, are we glad we did! We ordered the scallops and salmon and they were absolutely delicious! We have spent more money for dinner in Newport for much less quality food. Will definitely be going back! The decor could use some sprucing up, but the meal was amazing.

This review is for La Forge’s food truck: La Costa Lobster & Tacos.
Street taco fail. The Lobster tacos (I ordered 2) completely lack the depth of flavor one expects from a street taco. Cold lobster meat, slaw, horribly executed pico de gallo and ordinary guac. I was surprised with the lack of flavor from the lobster meat, seeing as Newport has more than its fair share of lobster boats to source fresh lobster. My husband had the steak tacos and we both agreed we could make better street tacos at home. Overall, poor excuse for a street taco food truck. Source: I am a native southern Arizonan, I know my street tacos.

Food is always excellent but boy, have the prices creeped up due to COVID.
Signature French Onion soup was nearly $10.00. Lunch for 2 $62.00.

Ordered a chicken sandwich and classic burger. Took 50+ min to be served. Burger wasn’t even cooked to order. $15-20 meals were served with plastic cups. Would not recommend going here and will not return.
