After a weekend in Newport, we went to The Lawn as a "last hurrah". The drive to Castle Hill was breathtaking and it is hard to describe the feeling when you pull up and see the water.
Nick was our waiter and his service was impeccable. He was attentive and kept giving us historical facts about the restaurant and the area.
I ordered the lobster roll and it was the best that I had the entire weekend. My girlfriend ordered was the steak and egg burrito which was really enough for two.
Order a final round of drinks, close out your tab and bring the drinks down to the Adirondack chairs for added experience.

Stunning view from the lawn chairs. The lobster roll and fish tacos were absolutely delicious. Be sure to make reservations in advance and choose to sit outside if you can. Get there a little early and take a walk to the Castle Hill lighthouse as well.

One of my favorite places in Newport, both the Inn and the restaurant. Great food and good service. I do not like the bees, not sure why the have so many on certain times of the year.

We went on a rainy day for lunch but I still have to give this place 5 stars. Service was great. Food was delicious. The lobster roll here has been THE best one I’ve had so far. The blueberry lemonade was delicious as well. Will definitely be returning when I visit Rhode Island again.

The views🌅 , the service🛎️ , and the food🍽️ 🥂 were all top-notch.👌 It was great to see social distancing and sanitation rules as well as masks being worn by all staff.😍 Thank you so much for a great weekend. Definitely will be going back.😀 👌❣️

Beautiful view, impeccable service but lunch for 4 before tip was $244. A cup of clam chowder (delicious) was $10.50. I'm glad we went but it won't be a regular occurrence
