Chart House

My Wife and I had a wonderful experience here. The food and drinks were excellent and had a table with a great view of the city. Wait staff was extremely attentive. Ultimately couldn't have had a better experience and certainly will return again. Highly recommend for any fans of seafood dishes. We enjoyed our coconut shrimp appetizer, my Wife enjoyed her "Chart Your Course" options with Steak and Shrimp, and the Chef's Special (Bronzed Mahi-Mahi with Crab Meat) which I had was excellent.

Chart House was both a tasty and pleasant surprise! Having been my first visit I spent an evening trying various appetizers while my wife decided to try the strip steak. To start I had calamari with a marinara sauce and it was fresh, delicious and much more than I should have eaten. I proceeded to a seafood tower of crabmeat, avocado and diced mangos and spices and finished with oysters on the half shell. Eat of these dishes were prepared with care and were nothing short of wonderful! The strip steak was as tender and flavor filled as any I have ever had. The view was gorgeous and I can't say enough about how excellent the service was during our visit. We ended the evening with coffee and their famous mud pie. It was a memorable meal that definitely requires another visit! As Always, Enjoy!

We were visiting family from out of town. The staff was very attentive and the food was great. They had a great selection of desserts as well. The view over the river was spectacular at the time of day we visited. The only negative was that we had two people at the table that didn't like seafood or steak and there was only 1 chicken option, so they felt limited. Overall it was good and I would recommend to others.

Just delightful. We were at a table right by the windows with a beautiful view of the river. Our server was bright, cheerful, friendly, patient, and attentive. The food was superb. Maple miso salmon, chimichurri steak, prime rib, and seafood 'pot pie' (sans pot) were just fantastic. Everything was cooked perfectly. The flavors of each dish were spot on, from the maple glaze counterpoint to the salmon, to the spice of the chimichurri sauce, to the sweeter flavors of the pot pie. Nothing bland, or overly spicey, or out of balance. Even the cocktail sauce for the shrimp cocktail was fantastic, as were the shrimp beignets. The location right on riverboat row is ideal, easy to reach, and has a private parking lot just for the restaurant. Whether you're a local looking for an elegant night out, or a traveler staying at one of the nearby hotels, you'll be sure to enjoy your meal!

Today was Easter and my husband and I had dinner with family. I dine here frequently enough to know that tonight was just not up to par with past experiences. Three of us ordered prime rib and it was very chewy and not tender and the mashed potatoes were barely warm. I would have said something to our server, but unfortunately the other people with us will never complain if something isn't right and so I didn't say anything either. We had delicious lobster bisque and the desserts were yummy, but the entrees were not very good. I will continue to go to the Chart House because this was probably just a one time occurrence, but I'm not sure I would ever order prime rib again.
