Village Pizza

Village pizza was very tasty, we ordered a large veggie pizza and a veggie sub. Both food dishes were delishes. The place was a little busy, however it was clean and fast service. The pizza reminded me of a new York style pizza. I believe they mentioned the dough is made fresh daily and never frozen. The employees were very nice and sweet.

parts of the pizza tasted a bit raw but for the most part, the pizza was well cooked and the crust is crunchy with a good amount of warm dough in it. nice facility and conveniently located on main street. 30 minute detour from 89. employees are not required to wear masks. not very safe, although they do have screens in place at the register.

If I could give this negative stars, I would. The pizza is okay, but the horrible customer service is not worth it. I called and ordered 2 large pizzas. When I got there, a half hour after I had ordered, my food still wasn't ready. I asked if I could pay while I waited and got immediately dismissed. (They weren't even that busy) I proceeded to wait for another 45 minutes for 2 freaking pizzas and watched multiple customers walk in and out. I was getting more frustrated by the minute. Eventually I got my food and left. Well I made the mistake of not checking my pizza. I ordered 1 half cheese half pineapple and 1 bacon, sausage, and burger. What I got was a pizza covered in onions with little to no bacon and sausage. I also got my half cheese half pineapple. When I tried to call back for them to make me a new one, the line was busy for over an hour, and 100+ attempted calls. Eventually I just went there. The owner was extremely rude when I told her my situation. The whole process took about 2 and a half hours. I got a refund for the 1 pizza, but not a single apology and even the cook was rude and told us "you try making pizza on a Friday night." When I was leaving he also said "bye Felicia" as I was walking out the door. I cannot believe the lack of customer service. It seems this generation continues to show us complete idiocy and lack of respect. Definitely not impressed and will not go back there ever again!

NEVER in 30 years has anyone positioned my subs standing up so that all the insides go to the bottom. Also NOT offered a bag for the last item. When asked for one, she gives me one that is too small. I get new people. But the owner was there and for her NOT to notice and correct the fact that my subs were waiting there in an upright position the whole time is unacceptable.

I used to think they had good food but one thing that now stops me from eating here and I'm hoping others will stop so maybe the owners will fix it is and is a constant thing is NONE of the workers ever wear GLOVES!!! Before covid and still now!!! They handle food with bare hands and NEVER wash their hands!! I once watched 3 workers go from handling food with bare hands, to answering the phone, and handling peoples cash and credit cards!!! and never once washing or sanitizing their gross hands!!!! And twice during the pandamic I was picking food up for a family member and they didn't have masks on either along with no gloves and this was mid-pandamic when it was mandatory!!! So DISGUSTING!!! They need to wear gloves and not be COMPLETELY UNSANITARY!!! its nasty and they should be fined and forced to make workers wear gloves. It's not rocket science, it's food service and not hard to comply with but they can't seem to handle that.
