I would very much like to take this time to honor a place that is to me, 'DOWN HOME'S FINEST'. The name is 'SHARAR'S GROCERY'. The name itself is the perfect introduction. Moreover, the store department is at its best. Now the knock-out punch, the 'DELI' has gone beyond it's call, and has surpassed all competition, which in my opinion, is for sure # 1. After I stepped inside, "Good afternoon sir, how are you doing?" an employee said. "I am fine thank you," I assured her. After that brief introduction, I carefully reviews the store, and then my focus now is the deli, which is at the back. So I slowly walks that way. Now there, I carefully looks over the hanging menu that outlines what they sale. My choice to buy is a '12 inches SUB'. After I ordered, I wondered how to eat the whole sandwich. Just think, 12 inches, isn't that 1foot? As I wonder, I came up with a solution. Why not eat half now, and then store the other half for eating later. After my solution, one of the deli employees (there are three or four) said my sandwich is ready. So I received it, and then slowly start walking to the check out counter at the front. Once there, I paid for the sandwich, looks around the store again, said thank you, and then exit saying goodbye.

Nice older store with reasonable prices on deli. My mom loves seasonal cheese homemade spread. I don't know if remaining store item prices are as good. Don't shop other stuff. Would give better stars if gentleman behind the counter had a better disposition. Wasn't so gruff and unpleasant. All else about store and workers are fine. UPDATE: Jake made the same chef salad today May 11 2019 upon request. He did a superb job, unlike my initial experience with different gentleman. He was kind and very accommodating. Thanks Jake for a great salad that my mom truly enjoyed!
