As usual. The food is great. Hot. And always a friendly and polite manner when I go there. Would I go anywhere else? No. Alonzi is one of the best Fish & Chip shop's in the area. And I have been a customer for well over 30 years.

My Favoutite Fish and Chip shop since John's closed on Maindee High Street. Always polite service and they are very efficient so there's never a long wait. Always well staffed so busy times never an issue. The Fish and Chips are excellent especially in a cardboard box and they have a huge range of products on offer so there's something for everyone.

The main reason for visiting Alonzi is the outstanding quality of their fish and chips, but you can also sit in and eat properly! However, fish and chips is what they do best and Alonzi is hard to beat throughout Newport IMHO. Try the Irish Gravy.
