It has been a very long time since I last visited. To be honest, I was not surprised that nothing has improved. Shocking service and shocking food; order was incorrect, drinks missing, etc. I will no longer go here.

Tried KFC after a long while because they have the new signature fries. Ordering was easy and there were bargains on the menu if you search for them. Not bad.

Service was a bit slow but it was busy. What I have marked it down on was the state of the loos. No loo roll and a bit dirty and frankly smelly.

I got diverted off of the M4 past this KFC last Friday, so I thought I'd get a take away. Got to say it was the best KFC I've had in years, fresh, hot and delicious. The staff were great too. So much better than my local KFC in Cross Hands.

Was first served by a young lad called Sam, very pleasant, and understood what was needed, he asked his boss a couple of questions to make sure he got it 100% correct, the boss Steve was also very pleasant, and it was a pleasure to be served by both of them, we've had couple of bad experiences at Cwmbran kfc recently, but this kfc over succeeded them by far, so will travel the extra to go hear in future, plus the food was 100% improvement on Cwmbran kfc, so hat's off to Newport KFC, Cheers Clive and Carol

Nice food for the price. But the sit in area was very dirty ( food and empty boxes everywhere) I think next time I will take my food to go
