We went to the bistro after reading reviews and they were spot on! The service is ever so friendly, food is outstanding. Thumbs up.

I booked this place last minute only because other recommended restaurants in the area were already booked and my expectations were quite low...instead the food was really good. We had the seafood marinier and it was delicious. The sauce was very balanced and the fish all locally sourced was fresh and tasty. Dont be fooled by the location the place is worth a visit.
Very Good price/quality.
Service was very attentive also.
Well done to all the staff.

Very friendly and helpful staff looking after our table of 9 adults. Superb seafood selection cooked and presented beautifully, as well as locally sourced steaks cooked to perfection. We'd thoroughly recommend this venue.

What a fantastic find, we booked this restaurant for our last night when down on holiday for the last week of the summer holidays with the kids.
The food was incredible & the staff very attentive! All the food was fresh & the deserts homemade.
Highly recommend, its shame it is a 7 hour drive from home, the seafood was amazing.
Will definitely visit again if we book a holiday down this part of the country again.

I’m sorry I do not have very good photos as i devoured everything almost immediately! What a lovely place, it has such a chilled out atmosphere, with fairy lights on the ceiling and a little hatch window to the kitchen, where u can observe the chefs. Just what I needed when I was craving a peaceful meal out. The service was great from the start to the end and the seafood was fresh and the addition of the spicy sausage in the mussels was lovely. Would definitely come to this local place if I visit Newquay again soon!

Best seafood restaurant offering fresh seafood dishes with reasonable pricing
Tried their Trio of fish (lemon sole, cod and hake) which was very well-cooked and not overly seasoned
A very friendly and welcoming service overall
Highly recommended

While looking for a place to eat dinner, we asked several places and everyone was fully booked for the evening and turned us away. We found this place (which was fully booked) but instead of turning us away they made room for us. They then proceeded to give us excellent service and even more excellent food. Everything from the bread and butter was exceptional. The crispy panko squid was perfect. The prawn tagliatelle was incredible. Everything was wonderful and I’m so grateful we were able to get a seat here.

We had amazing dinner, the fish was cooked to perfection and the desserts was bespoke recipes and home-made. We had the trio of fish and grilled hake followed by the most delisicous carrot cake which was also fluten free. We found out that Emma (the chef) and her husband (front of house manager) run this place together - the love and hard work put in this place are tangible, making the experience one of a kind. All of the staff were caring and considerate and we truly cannot recommend you visiting this restaurant if in Newquay. Super reasonably priced for the quality and taste too!

Had a quick dinner earlier and the overall experience was pleasant. Two adults and a baby went straight to main dishes costed c.£80. The seafood mariniere was come with homemade lavender foccacia (although the new waitress said not coming with anything). Husband had red wine stew beef and another portion of lavender foccacia. Baby had beef bolognese ,mind you the noodle is not spaghetti but a kind of blue dragon medium egg noodles. The garlic breads was overpowering with salt. Seafood mariniere was only 3.5 stars out of 5. As we by the seaside you would have thought seafood would be not stingy and super fresh. Unfortunately the brown crab claw has no meat not like what you would imagine a claw meat slide out from shell. Taste of it was unfresh, two prawns with shells and heads, it meats were not crunchy, fresh and suspected were used frozen prawns. Fish was poached in sauce instead of menu says Grilled fillet fish. The white wine butter sauce was slightly salty. However I cleaned the bowl, so if you asked was it 5 out of 5, it wasnt, but it is above average than uk seafood restaurant, yes it is. Lemon meringue pie was lovely. Another negative point was pilsner head too much, room dim light was overheated above head. Services were attentive.
