Excellent little fish and chip shop. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, all serving with a smile. Food is reasonable priced and was delicious. Will definitely come again next time we're in Newquay

Nice chippy with good portion sizes even on the specials. Has seating inside and a toilet if required. Can get busy at lunchtime in the summer but worth the wait for good priced fish and chips.

Went into Truscotts on Monday lunchtime to have a cod & chips takeaway. Guy taking the order was very pleasant & confirmed the ingredients before we ordered. Fish (cod) & chips was cooked lovely & as it had started to rain we were able to sit at one of the tables & chairs inside. Good quality wooden forks were provided for us to eat our meal & the service was very pleasant. Would go back there again.

Very pleasant couple running the business and young lad confident, polite and competent.
Owners very respectful and making time to chat to regulars.
Place was spotless. Lady did a really thorough job and keeping the place clean.
Service was fast and fish was very tasty.
Really nice to be able to sit and eat and have some respite from the sun and seagulls!!!

Tasty cod and chips for husband and Pie, chips and peas for me. All with gravy. :-)Visited here on 17/08/22 whilst on holiday. Was not disappointed and one guy serving was polite and order process very efficient considering there was a big queue. We went at diner time which is until 2pm then re opens later for tea. Check times before you go. Would recommend
