5stars all round for this place, we come to Newquay 3-4 times a year as parents live there, francines is a must every time. Sometimes twice a visit. Great portion size, and according to the boyfriend, best fish he's ever had ..

Absolutely delicious cod and chips. Some of the best I have had and a real treat after eating awful pub and restaurant food in Newquay for a week. Service was brisk, efficient and cheerful with customers queuing and waiting outside - our wait was only brief. Took food back to apartment and enjoyed immensely.

Prompt, friendly service. Great sized portions. Only downside was they got the order slightly wrong, (only 1 jumbo sausage instead of 2 so dogs went hungry...lol) which we didnt realise till we got back to our caravan site 15 mins away. Didnt detract from the meal though

Good quality chippy that has good portion sizes. Open until 9pm most nights and can get busy. It’s away from the main touristy part of Newquay so it caters more towards the locals but can’t say it’s really any cheaper than the ones on the main beach fronts of Newquay. But then again these prices seem to be the going rate for fish and chips at seasides these days. Not many chippy are open as late as this one so if u want a chippy that’s open abit later this is the one.

Came across Francine's by accident and was so glad we did. Just had chips but they were the best chips, really enjoyed them. Shame we live so far away, will definitely call again next time we visit Newquay.

Order ahead on busy evenings. Excellent chips. Fish was excellent. Batter slightly soggy after travel but crisp out the fryer. Not the chippy’s fault. Delicious. Haddock is my favourite and their’s didn’t disappoint.

Pretty good fish, well salted chips and overall delicious. Great service. Quite a long line to wait for your food but it's worth it.
