Well we wanted fish and chips for lunch and found this spot. Let's be honest it's not bistro cuisine it's sea side fish and chips but good honest food. Great views of Fistral beach and I felt good value with the family meal deal of 2 kids meals with drink and sauce and 2 adults fish and chips plus 2 cans for £27.50 pretty good. I know back home it's £9 for one portion of fish and chips so happy with the price. Fish was fresh and large white flakes, chips as good as you get from new potatoes and nice crispy batter. Staff pleasant too. Tables were clean enough and toilets too. Thanks 🙏 for lovely lunch all

Decent chippy with outside seating, good choice with a kids choice menu. Very filling, don't leave food unattended as seagulls will pinch your food. Good value

Came here as a child. So glad we came back the food is absolutely beautiful! Lovely crispy battered fish without the grease. Really good prices too. Highly recommended!

Jon Buoys may not look the most appealing place but the food is exceptionally good. He seems to have a secret batter recipe for the fish that does let all the grease stick to it. Fantastic tasting fish and chips

Not as bad as the other reviews are saying! Had a nice meal here - I chose the battered burger and chips while my partner had cod and chips - while the cod was a little bland, the food in general was pretty good. Plenty of seating outside and close to the beach! It was fairly busy when we got there but we didn't have to wait long for our meals which were well cooked and warm, and we managed to get seats!
