Couldn’t help but write a review whilst still being here! The staff are so lovely & friendly & accommodating. The seating area is lovely & comfortable. My little one has had special treatment and got a warm milk on the house from one of the lovely gentlemen who work here 🥰 also the latte I have had is beautiful! Would definitely recommend. Love the look of the Cornish spiced rum, I’m hoping my other half picks up on my hints hehe

It has set it self proudly serving all Cornish made items so many local made items from beer to cheese it's definitely worth going in and looking at all of the fantastic things inside this review will not do it justice it's pure gold this place

I LOVE the great use of this iconic old building. The Counting House has real character and a lovely vibe. I visited for a coffee and enjoyed a cheese croissant with my dad. He dipped in to the cakes on the counter and was impressed with his flat white. We had a walk around the deli and admired the great selection of wines and charcuterie. We'll be back to pick up some Christmas presents later this month! We received our coffee's and food in good time, from a very professional and smiley member of the Counting House team. There are so many places where coffee costs over the odds and you don't receive the service that the price demands. But The Old Counting House has got it all just right. I'll be back and I'll be spreading the word to my colleagues, friends and the customers to my business. You must have a look in the back, where the old 'safe' is. A lovely use of the old fixtures and fittings. We'll be back!
Great little cafe and delicatessen, cheese and ham toasted croissants went down well with the kids.
I popped in with my husband yesterday, such a handsome old building from the outside! We both had a warming leek and potato soup of the day and shared a toasted cheese and chorizo sandwich and a toasted ham and brie baguette because we couldn’t decide. This made an excellent lunch, especially the home made soup. There was good strong coffee to drink in, or take away already made or to take home to brew your own. And so many other things to take home, such a selection of 100% Cornish goods is amazing!
Excellent service , really delicious raspberry cruffins, a great pot of tea and clean toilets. What more do you need! Some nice things in the deli too.
