Fantastic local pub situated on top of a hill offering great views from the lovely beer garden. Beers are kept very well. Friendly staff and locals who are very welcoming of newcomers. Dog friendly. Highly recommended.

This pub is such a gem. It has a proper village atmosphere but with a very warm welcome. The landlady has never been less than accommodating but not in your face. I can’t understand the last review about The Lord Nelson because it’s such a homely place to be so if I were you I’d pop on in and see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed. X

Lovely village pub. The landlords, Pete, Lesley and Heather will do their most to make you feel at home. A good range of beers, ales and cider. Also worth checking out their outside seating with views of the moors.

This place is pretty dire. The landlady was rude and we ended up feeling quite intimidated by her because we dared to ask where her wines were from. The little dog with the very dry nose used the carpet next to us as its toilet, it then proceeded to sit on one of the bar stools. They do not serve food. On the plus side, the hanging baskets are beautiful.
